MICHELE CLARKE

Michele Clarke is a globally recognized expert in integrated strategic marketing and communications that span the corporate, financial, product, regulatory and employee engagement disciplines.

She has advised early-stage, high-growth and Global 2000 companies and non-profits as well as their executives and Boards. She has deep expertise in marketing, corporate transactions, management transitions, category and brand rehabilitations, crisis communications, issues management, and partner loyalty and preference programs.

She has counseled some of the most prominent chairmen and chief executives in the technology and media sectors. Her market knowledge spans media, consumer technology, mobile content,  business & professional services, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, aerospace, automotive & manufacturing, and fundamental technology. She led investor-focused efforts for three of the most successful IPOs in Nasdaq history – Netscape Communications, Rambus Inc. and NeuStar – and communications strategy for the media industry’s largest-ever leveraged buyout.

She's been a senior agency executive at four top-10 firms; directed in-house global strategic communications; and spent more than a decade as a leading business and technology journalist and editorial manager. Her editorial career spanned the electronics, OEM, Internet & Information Technology, and graphics and animation markets.

Michele specializes in programs that create leadership by setting the agenda, informed by comprehensive perception-analysis and positioning/messaging that produces focused, effective programs that guarantee results. Her real-time response, analysis and proactive positioning programs have created unprecedented success for more than 15 years.

 Michele speaks on integrated communications and media management strategies at national conferences and earned a Gold SABRE Award for Best Business-to-Business Marketing Program for work on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, New York Post and other media. She is a member of the Council of Communications Management and the Public Relations Society of America's Counselors Academy. She has served as a judge of the PRSA’s prestigious Silver Anvil Awards since 2001.
