JANE BUTLER

Jane Butler has decades of experience in the world of media, information services, and educational publishing, serving in top management positions including CEO and Board Chair at leading international firms. Her extensive operational experience in mergers and acquisitions includes the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and integration of nearly 30 strategic businesses as well as numerous divestitures. 

After more than a decade in college textbook markets, Jane rose to the position of CEO of Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Business division, where she helped reposition the company from a specialty print publisher to the third largest provider of proprietary legal content in the US, leading the organization through its rapid expansion and overseeing the acquisition of 18 businesses. 

In 2004, Jane founded the Vendome Group, LLC, a B2B media firm focused on conferences and information services, primarily in the healthcare sector.  In 2015, she was recognized by Folio magazine as one of the Top Women in Media.  In 2018, Jane managed the sale of Vendome Group.
